:: I'm in NEW ICON magazine ::

All of out of sudden, one of my blogger friend IM (instant messenger) me and says :

EricYoong : Your picture is in NewIcon Man magazine!
Elaine : Huh? What? Which magazine? Where? Which picture? *anxiously*

After further clarification and help from Eric, then only realized it was the photo taken by one of "mystery" photographer during Nuffnang Tiger Party at HQNine. I bet the person who tool that picture is one of the photographer from NewIcon magazine to follow up the Nuffnang event. Courtesy of Eric for transfering the softcopy of the magazine page to me.

Suprisingly, they had choose our photo from other photos (which I think much way better than ours). Suprisingly, Hui Juin and I doesn't look fat or FUGLY at all in that picture. I guess they had photoshop it before publishing it. :)

And officially, now I can say "yee~ haaaaa!!!!! I'm IN MAGAZINE"! Please buy the magazine to support me (virtually) even though I will not get even a penny on the profits for sales of the magazine. WTF!!! And let me know when get to know where I can buy this magazine, because I yet to manage to find this magazine.

There is only one Malay Bookstore located nearby my house. WTF! And they only selling "malay buku lucah"! LOL!

I realized we are taking picture with Rin (http://www.cheeserland.com/) who is a famous celebrity blogger. So *thinking* maybe our photo was picked mainly because Rin is in the picture, and not because of us!!!!

Anyway, doesn't care it's because of who, I was in the magazine page, colour page some more!! wakakakak! Congratulate me, faster faster!!! And I think the magazine should pay me like loyalty or publishment fees for using my photos right??? Right???

The magazine retail price is RM10, since I only utilize 1/3 of 100++ pages, so I should be getting minimum of 0.01% from each magazine sold. If they are selling 1000 copies all around the world, then I should be paid with RM100, and more if they sell more! SHIT! Where can I get the New icon office number!

Worst to worst, if they refused to pay me loyalty fees, I can appeal to court to sue them right, maybe I'll get more! HAHAHHAHAHAHAH!

Daniel WU so handsome and cool! I lurve him!!!

Me me~ How do I look ? Wakakakakaak!!

P/S : I'm at page 103! Look for me there! ^_^

:: My heart is broken ::

This is the 1st time my heart felt so pain even more as compare to when I failed in my subject, as compare to when Leong hurted me, as compare to when my mom throw me from the staircase when I was 7yrs old...as if a knife stabbed into my heart truly deeply madly deeply.

My baby Vivi was hurt after 3 months with me. I "hit his" head to a lorry last Friday when I was on my way back from a dinner with Yves on a night.

I was on the way back after steamboat dinner with Yves on last Friday at Bukit Tinggi Klang. I reach Kesas Kota Kemuning tol in 10 minutes after dropping by Yves back at her house. 500km~ 1km away from the tol, I started to look for my identification card (IC) which I loaded and normally use as Touch&Go card to pass the tol.

Unfortunately, I can't seems to find it anyhow. I try to search again in my vallet (again and again while driving and slowly moving to the "cash" counter, just incase I can't find it at the end. But, my brain seems so anxious and nervous when I can't find my IC, because I was using it earlier (to Klang). I worry I dropped it somewhere when I step out from the car or I dropped it somewhere in the car hidden places, or maybe I put it in my car somewhere... My mind keeps on flashing back where I put it after my last usage.

Without realizing, my car already closely moved to a lorry which is queuing in front of me. And by the time I move my head and eyes to front...BUMMMMMMPPPPP!!!!!!!! Followed by Oh my GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDD!!! from me who is in shocked. My car hit the back of the lorry and immediately I press the brake as deeply as I can, but it was too late. It was too late because my no point me pressing the brake when my bonet already hit the lorry's back. WTFFFFF!!!!!

I was shocked and not knowing what to do STONED for few seconds. And started to look for my handphone and call for help. At the same time, I saw a bunch of Malay guys coming down from the lorry. The lorry move and park at the side of the tol and started to approach me who is busy calling for help.

If not mistaken, there are 4~5 of them. 2 from front seats and 3 from the back (the lorry's back container). I'm nervous, I'm so scared but thank god there are so many cars during that time which are queing to pass the counter. So, at least I do not need to worry they will hijak me or beating me for banging their back.

I quickly move to see my car's condition and as expected the front bonet was dented (kemik) terribly and I can't even open my door (driver's door). WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!

After 5~ 10 minutes, the driver approach me by asking "Are you ok?", and I replied "I'm Ok, and sorry". The driver claimed that his lorry is OK and I think of course la...The transport you are driving is LORRY while I drive Myvi! Sure you are ok la! WTF! My Vivi hit directly to the back's of the lorry's kangaroo's bar (for lorry) and I guess the worst is where the bar was left with few scratches only. And they leave me alone there after confirming I'm ok. Ok, they are not that bad~ At least they did not hijak me, my car and rape me somewhere in the middle of the jungle! Shit~ What I am saying... @___@

Anyway, my car still manage to move after furter investigation. What a bad day for me! my tyre flatted on the same day which I had fixed it few hours before the accident happen. You say la, bad luck or not? Sighhh~~

Fortunately, no body injury except little sore on my stomach there. I guess my stomach hit on the stereng when I hit the emergency brake. However, not that pain now. I admit it was 100% my careless because not preparing the money/touch&go earlier. So the morale of the story, concentrate while you're driving and don't drink and drive... LOL!

Sighh~ I still need to go and report police to claim insurance. I still need to send my car for repair. And I can't freely move around without my Vivi and have to use my parents' car with the pressure of borrowing their car. Not to say they are selfish, but somehow I will stressed driving their car. You know la, must really take extra care while driving. Sighh~~

But, luckily because of that also, I do not need to worry on how to go to work while my Vivi being "hospitalized" for at least 2 weeks! Bad luck day has gone, and another brighter tomorrow will come! AMIN! ALILUYA!

It might not looks bad, but the worst thing is I just owned it for 3 months and Wa~laaaa!! T____T

Can you see the hole?! SIghh~

Another big hole. Due to this dented bonet, I can't open my driver's door.

:: Help! PANCIT ah!! ::

My nightmare begin when my phone alarm not ringing and I wake up late, 30 mins later than usual. I faster brush my teeth (luckily I remember to brush my teeth) and take my bath, make up and groom my hair. I worry I will be late for today's work and my RM100 attendance allowances will burn!

So, without noticing anything, I rush to fill up my water bottle~ A minute before left the house, my mom notice my left-back tyre seems to looks weird by saying "It looks like going to flat, hmmmmm...not like the other one". Rushing to work, I answered "I will go pump it after work".

I double-check the tyre condition after I reach office safely and timely. And to assure my eyes doesn't have any problem, I asked Hui Juin to look at if and confirm it was flatting. Yes, the tyre is flatting and it is PANCIT!!!! Grrrrrrr~~ My first time with flatting tyre and first with my Vivi too. What should I do?

The nightmare began when thinking when should I go and change or fix the tyre. I have few options as below :

1) Take half day leave (ANNUAL LEAVE) to go and fix - CANNOT, it will burn my RM100 attendance allowances as it is consider as EMERGENCY LEAVE.

2) Take half day UNPAID LEAVE (where half of it bear by the company) to go and fix - NOT WORTH it, because somehow I no "untung" and waste my one day UNPAID LEAVE.

3) Take"personal time off" to go and fix it - CANNOT, because it will burn my attendance allowances also. WTF!

4) Take "Business time off" to go nd fix it - CANNOT, somehow it need to get my MANAGER's approval, and the consequences I need to come out with lots of reasons why I applied "Business Time Off" for fixing the tyre! WTF again!

5) Somehow, I will need someone helping me to change to SPARE tyre because the tyre going to flat very soon even before lunch. And another thing, I do not know how to change tyre! WTF again again!!!

After further discussion with HR, my supervisor, and Hui Juin, we decided to change to spare tyre at 10am, and take lunch time off (only 45 minutes) to go and "tampal" the hole (if any). The risk that we need to take is, if the process takes more than 45 minutes, our RM100 attendance allowances will BURN!

4th September 209, 10:00 am

Hui Juin and I are preparing for the "tyre changing" activity. It was my 1st time changing tyre, and I felt so nervous! Luckily Hui Juin "seems" to know the procedures and be my "sifu" in the whole activity.

She started to loosen the screws by stepping on it. She knew which way to turn to loosen it without trying on both clockwise and anit-clockwise. So, it just takes less than 5 minutes for her to loosen the screws. KHJ, you're so geng chao!! You potential to become foremen if Spansion going to bancrupt!

Meanwhile, I'm trying to find the most suitable place to place the jet, before start jetting up my car. Not easy task, as I don't know where to put! LOL! Once we manage to place the jet on the correct place (hopefully), I started to use the steel to jet up my car. Turning left and right..Phewww!! It's damn tiring, it's like using your hand to lift up the car which weight more than me!

As usual, I asked Hui Juin snap down the process of me who is hardly turning the jet! "Eeee---ahhhhh--eeee--ahhhhhh!!!"

It is really san fu! Not easy~ Phewwwww!!

My sifu showing off her skill!!

After 15 minutes, we manage to remove the old flatting tyre, changing it with the spare tyre. Phhewwww!!! And luckily it's a cloudy day, we doesn't sweat much! THANK GOD! Actually, now I realized that the process of changing spare tyre is not as hard as I thought. As long you manage to loosen the screws, as long as you manage to jet up the car, as long as you manage to remove the tyre, then you can do it in a snap of fingers!

Maybe I got her to help me for my first time, make me feel much more easier than it should be~ Anyway, we did it!! Malaysia BOLEH! Hui Juin and Elaine BOLEH!!

After further investigation, proven there is a screw buried deeply in my tyre. It must be the screw from my neighbour's construction necause I pack the car in front of their gate yesterday.Cisss~

Wow! KHJ, you rally got potential to become a forewomen! wakakakak!

The (*@#&#)!_@)!+_@) screw! *cursing the screw kao kao lat!!*

Now only I know Myvi's spare tyre is so much different in terms of size. It's like at least 2 sizes different as to compare to my 15" tyre. It does not bring any differences after we change the spare tyre, as you can see from picture below..the spare tyre looks even flat as compare to my flatting tyre! Hahahahahaha! But, since we already change it, why not just use it. So, Hui Juin's effort wont be wasted! LOL!

OMG! The spare tyre so small! WHy Perodua so "kiam siap" in giving such a small spare tyre! Cannot give a bigger one???!

Here I would to thanks KUNG HUI JUIN for lending me a pair of hands to help in chaning the spare tyre! I owe you once, and I'm more than willing to help you to change if your tyre gets "pancit" one day! Choi CHoi Choi! TOuch Wood!! hehhehehe!

Us, camwhoring to mark the memorable in changing tyre together on 04th September 2009!

P/S : Oh ya, we went out during lunch to fix the flat tyre at workshop nearby our factory. It just cost me at RM4 for 10 minutes of fixing and even helping me to change back to original tyre. =____="

They are using the air blower to loosen the screws EASILY and using the GENG CHAO jet to jet my car up EASILY! Damn! It takes us so long and so hard to do that, while they EASILY did it in few blinks of eyes.

The geng chao JET!

The foremen with the air blower!!

The fatty bringing my flatting tyre to fix~

:: Goodbye Spansion ::

At last, I decided to leave Spansion despite of complaining and struggling for like at least a year saying “I’m lost, I’m sien, I’m boring, I got nothing to do, I cannot learn things, and so on so on so on so on so on”

My feeling is mixing now, both happy and worry. I’m happy being able to step out of my comfort zone where I used to get to enjoy a lot of good facilities such as Spansion’s cheap-priced cafeteria, free-meal, free-parking, company’s notebook, my spacious cubicles, cheap breakfast, and cheap ice-cream. You know la, not easy for someone who drives Mercedes all the while is asked to drive Kancil/Viva.

I don’t mean I’m downgrading myself, but I’m trying something new something different. I’m joining different industry, from user-type to vendor type. I will be involving 100% in programming and coding, which I *think* something that I’m looking for. I feel boring here supporting to user, without achieving something that can make me proud. I feel my skills in programming are decreasing tremendously here due to my support job. In conjunction with that, nothing here to force myself to go and learn or to explore. I just remain static; remain stupid there without thinking how should I improve. I feel so hated to go to work, not sure because I got tans of work, because of the salary, because of the job scope here or because I just want to get my ass out of here.

My 1st job (after graduate from Degree) with Spansion gave me quite a good benefits such as free-lunch-meal everyday, free-parking, near office location and I also given with petrol allowances makes I feel so reluctant to find another job, despite of not a high basic salary. I know I can continue to live in average life with average income if to remain with Spansion. But for sure my programming knowledge and skills will become below average or maybe close to poor since no motivation or need for me to do so here.

Hui Juin (my colleague) and I always discussing whether we should leave or we should stay with Spansion.

Courtesy of Hui Juin

Points to stay with Spansion

1. Because we will get free-lunch
2. Because we will do not pay SF expensive parking fees
3. Because Spansion is big.
4. Because we are not under-paid.
5. Because we do not need to pay toll to go to work
6. Because the parking is big
7. Because I can blog while working
8. Because I have a cute friend working with me and IM with me and go everywhere with me (even to toilet) <-- quoted by Hui Juin herself *sweat*
9. Because Spansion has it’s own mini-gym
10. Because the medical/hospitalization fee is cover
11. Because I have my own big cubicle
12. Because I have my own phone on my table (a phone which only can be used to call Spansioners, not to external call)

Points to leave with Spansion

1. Working for 2 years in same company looking at the same person and same thing is freaking boring
2. Because Spansion is boring
3. Because I feel like being a typical malay-factory worker.
4. Because I lose my confident in coding the longer I stay here
5. Because Spansion going to bankrupt (rumors)
6. Because no increment
7. Because maximum only with 1 month bonus (too little)
8. Because work in Spansion no freedom, lunch need to eat inside
9. Because working here is not flexible, else our attendance allowances will “terbakar’ means BURN!
10. Because Spansion toilet got no consistent toilet paper supply

However, my decision is not mainly because of points as above. There is a lot of area to consider, a lot of issues to be taken care of. However, everything will be over soon. I will soon leave Spansion, join another company and start my new life very soon.

I might work happily there, learning what I want to learn, earning what I want to earn but at the same time, I might not get anything else better than Spansion. No one knows *yet*! But I agreed when Hui Juin quoted this “If you stay, you will be 100% not happy. If you leave, you will at least have 50% chances to become more happy”.

So, I tender my resignation letter yesterday officially on 2nd September 2009, and I will officially leave my spacious cubicle on 2nd November 2009. The countdown starting now…Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock!!!!

:: Nuffnang Final Destination Screening ::

Thanks to Ah Bok for inviting me to Nuffnang "Final Destination" Premier Screening at TGV, 1 Utama as dated as below.

Date : 1st September 2009
Time : 9pm
Venue : TGV, 1Utama, Damansara Utama

Yeay! First time meeting Ah Bok..hmmmm..no no..it's the 2nd time...I should say 1st time chatting with him in "real life", and frankly honestly absolutely he is very tall! LOL! I need to bend my head upward to talk to him, and I believe he will need to bend his head downward to talk to me. WTF!! No no, I know what you are thinking! Not me who is short, is he who is tall ok! It's totally different statement and meaning!! =___="

I'm shorter than him doesn't mean I'm very short and when he is tall doesn't mean he is very tall! When he is taller than me, doesn't mean I'm short! *what I'm saying now -confuse* Bottomline, he is tall but I'm not short! hahahahah

Note : I'm not that fat and short ok! LOL!!

Ok, let's get to the movie review this time. There is only one word to describe this movie "SIGH". You will know why when you see the movie yourself, and please pay RM11/RM10 to SIGH in person yourself! Hahahahah!

Basically, this story works similarly to previous FD, where a group of peoples manage to survive from death when the hero manage to see/sense that they are going to be killed in a tragedy. So, he manage to save their lifes, but ended with tragedies where each of them takes turn to be killed in a horror way!!! Maybe their body will be cutted into half, or their eye ball being removed, or their head being chopped off from their body and many more creative ways of killing! Watch it if you curious about it.

Frankly, I'm quite dissapointed with this one, Final Destination IV as compare to previous ones. Mainly there are few reasons :

1) The movie duration too short , 1 hour 15~20minutes including few short advertisments
2) The peoples DIE SO FAST! WTF! It's like 2 peoples death in 15 minutes!
3) The hero not handsome & the heroin is wearing panty and walks around! Please don't bring boyfriend to watch this movie, else they will compare yours with hers one! LOL!
4) I'm expecting myself to throw out after seeing those blood splashing around, but too bad I ended walking out from the cinema without even a drop of digested food's liquid from my mouth! Sorry to be grossy here!
5) There is no ending!! WTF!! I hate this the most!!! WTFFFFFFF!! Another no-ending movie!! Why all movies like that one?!! I was like "HUH?!?!!!! Again" upon leaving the cinema! Sighhhh~~~

Ok, enough with the review? Overall, I rate 1/10 for movie rating. 1 rated for Ah Bok for inviting me! Ah Bok, it's for you!! Bravo!! So what you think? Do you feel like going in, paying for a movie with no ending?

"It's up for you to take the risk", "The rating is mainly based on personal taste and review" <-- Courtesy of Ah Bok for these 2 phrases~ LOL!

Presenting, the tickets and both of us! He is bending down to take picture with me LOL!!

Hmmmm, which one looks better? The skull or me? LOL!

P/S : I'm watching Final Destination IV at 7th month 14th day of Chinese Lunar Calendar (means the day where all the hungry/ham sap ghosts freely to wonder around human world for fun *shivering*)

P/S/S : Ok, I'm going to sleep with lights ON tonight, and with handphone music ON tonight!

P/S/S : Will upload photos of me and Ah Bok soon~ Stay Tune~

Till here, nitez nitex..
