:: The new me in Cadbury ::

Wow!! seeing back last post, it's been a while (in fact so damn long) since my last update. I thought I can find some spider on its spider web onmy web =.="

Initially I do have plan to stop blogging in this blog due to some reason, but re-considering that I've spent so many years building this blog from 1 post to few hundreds of posts now. I feel so "em seh tak". So I decided to continue to blog about everything. However, I maintain 2 blogs now, one for personal and one for special one! hehehehe! U know I know what la huh... ^_^

Let me start to blog about my new life at my new company. I just joined Cadbury Confectionery@ Shah Alam like 1 month ago. This will be my 4th week joining as part of Cadburians. But however, sad news is Cadbury no longer Cadbury as Cadbury just being bought over by Kraft. And by right, I should address myself as Kraftrians instead.

Hmmmmm.. what to say about my new company. I joined Cadbury as Business Unit Service Delivery Analyst. What a bombastic name!! =.=" But in actual, my job is just trying to SERVE the internal users, aka IT executive. wtf! But m=by having such a post with higher salary not bad also what. Back to my job scope, I'm doing everything which related to serving Cadbury user. It ranges from issuing purchase order, ordering toner, fixing user access problem, changing toner, fixing pc, installing application, work with vendor on application updates, do filing, get quotation, call HelpDesk for any access issues, etc etc.

Do I sounds so pathetic while listing out all the jobs? =.=" Yes, abit. But what a good thing about my job is I like dealing with people, communicate with them, get to know them. And most importantly, the satisfaction when being able to help them, regardless it's big or small issue. But the bad thing, I will not improve on anything especially my programming skillset. I will improve on my communication skill but not my technical skillset.

And another good thing, I got to buy cheap chocolate! Hahahahaha! All my friends and family should be happy because I always distribute chocolates and candies when I got to buy it at 50-60% cheaper than market rate. And the lunch time is flexible here, as to compare to rigid Spansion's lunch time. Oh ya... my boss will not be base here, so in other words, "no king control" here! hahahhah!

Am I happy with Cadbury? Not sure yet.. But never try never know, especially when Kraft bought over, alot of uncertainty with this company. Maybe it will get better, or get worser. *cross fingers it will get better*

Another thing is my bosses already moved to their new office which located at First Avenue, Damansara. And due to that, I will somehow need to station there once in a while like 2-3 days a weel average. Fuhhh!! Tiring, but luckily I can claim lieage, petrol and tol for the trip over Kraft office. But it's so tiring driving so far to the office, and drive back. The jam, the traffic, the work there.. one word.. Tiring!!! I'm still trying to adapt myself in this environment, with the yim chim boss. =.="

Considering the "not bad" salary, I will try to tahan as long as possible! Wish me luck all! AMIN OMITOFU!!! Let me share abit of moments while I'm in Cadbury.

:: Goodbye Spansion ::

At last, I decided to leave Spansion despite of complaining and struggling for like at least a year saying “I’m lost, I’m sien, I’m boring, I got nothing to do, I cannot learn things, and so on so on so on so on so on”

My feeling is mixing now, both happy and worry. I’m happy being able to step out of my comfort zone where I used to get to enjoy a lot of good facilities such as Spansion’s cheap-priced cafeteria, free-meal, free-parking, company’s notebook, my spacious cubicles, cheap breakfast, and cheap ice-cream. You know la, not easy for someone who drives Mercedes all the while is asked to drive Kancil/Viva.

I don’t mean I’m downgrading myself, but I’m trying something new something different. I’m joining different industry, from user-type to vendor type. I will be involving 100% in programming and coding, which I *think* something that I’m looking for. I feel boring here supporting to user, without achieving something that can make me proud. I feel my skills in programming are decreasing tremendously here due to my support job. In conjunction with that, nothing here to force myself to go and learn or to explore. I just remain static; remain stupid there without thinking how should I improve. I feel so hated to go to work, not sure because I got tans of work, because of the salary, because of the job scope here or because I just want to get my ass out of here.

My 1st job (after graduate from Degree) with Spansion gave me quite a good benefits such as free-lunch-meal everyday, free-parking, near office location and I also given with petrol allowances makes I feel so reluctant to find another job, despite of not a high basic salary. I know I can continue to live in average life with average income if to remain with Spansion. But for sure my programming knowledge and skills will become below average or maybe close to poor since no motivation or need for me to do so here.

Points to stay with Spansion

1. Because we will get free-lunch
2. Because we will do not pay SF expensive parking fees
3. Because Spansion is big.
4. Because we are not under-paid.
5. Because we do not need to pay toll to go to work
6. Because the parking is big
7. Because I can blog while working
8. Because I have a cute friend working with me and IM with me and go everywhere with me (even to toilet) <-- quoted by Hui Juin herself *sweat*
9. Because Spansion has it’s own mini-gym
10. Because the medical/hospitalization fee is cover
11. Because I have my own big cubicle
12. Because I have my own phone on my table (a phone which only can be used to call Spansioners, not to external call)

Points to leave with Spansion

1. Working for 2 years in same company looking at the same person and same thing is freaking boring
2. Because Spansion is boring
3. Because I feel like being a typical malay-factory worker.
4. Because I lose my confident in coding the longer I stay here
5. Because Spansion going to bankrupt (rumors)
6. Because no increment
7. Because maximum only with 1 month bonus (too little)
8. Because work in Spansion no freedom, lunch need to eat inside
9. Because working here is not flexible, else our attendance allowances will “terbakar’ means BURN!
10. Because Spansion toilet got no consistent toilet paper supply

However, my decision is not mainly because of points as above. There is a lot of area to consider, a lot of issues to be taken care of. However, everything will be over soon. I will soon leave Spansion, join another company and start my new life very soon.

I might work happily there, learning what I want to learn, earning what I want to earn but at the same time, I might not get anything else better than Spansion. No one knows *yet*! But I agreed when Hui Juin quoted this “If you stay, you will be 100% not happy. If you leave, you will at least have 50% chances to become more happy”.

So, I tender my resignation letter yesterday officially on 2nd September 2009, and I will officially leave my spacious cubicle on 2nd November 2009. The countdown starting now…Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock!!!!

:: SHRDC ::

Ok, here I am back to blogging mood. Please bear in mind this post was backdated few days ago (last Wednesday). =________="

Spansion sent us for seminar a day last week, which was conducted at SHRDC, Shah Alam. Nothing much to brag about this seminar, maybe something about our itinenary for the day.

Let's begin how we went there in the morning, I had been assigned as the driver for the day with my ViVi as the main target. There are 3 of us, includes Micheal, Kah Wai and me who registered for the seminar. Kah Wai own Proton Saga, Micheal own Kancil, and Me with a Myvi. Micheal suggested us to vote for which car, and as expected they voted Myvi. Sighh~~ Kena buli terang-terangan. So, I became the driver for the day to fetch these 2 "gentlemen" guys.

Basically, this seminar introduce us to 3D Simulation and RFID technology. The seminar begin with the presentation by the speackers from different companies. For me, it's more to marketing where the company promotes their products to us, and hope us to contact them and buy their products. =____="

We spent the whole day there, attending the seminar, exchanging name cards with the speakers, and that's it. Boring day, but it's an oppurtunity to get away from office and enjoy the process of officially "snaking" outside of a company. Shiii~~ Don't tell my boss!

:: Spansion Hunt ::

Hui Juin, Kah Wai (IT), Siew Ping (Planning) and I decided to participate in this internal activity organized by Quality department. And since we had 1-old boy and 3 pretty ladies, so we named our group as Charlie & Angels, mainly to reflect the "Charlie Angels" movie where 3 pretty and sexy ladies fighting and flirting around to get the task done with the help of Charlie as their co-ordinator.

The differences between the real Charlie's Angel and fake Charlie's Angel is

• "Our Charlie does not have mustard mustache" *original Charlie more handsome right?
• "Our 3 angels are not wearing bikini and running around the beach" *we only running around Spansion*
• Our charlie running slower than the angels *and causing me need to act like lion roaring around for him to catch up faster HAHAHHA*
• And most importantly "We don't flirt around". =__=" *we did TRY to flirt the judges or other male opponents to give the next clue-and it failed completely*

Ok, let's continue with the event. We, Spansion Charlie & Angels Team get ready by 5:15pm and ended the whole Spansion Hunt at 6:00pm, by completing 5 challenges, solving 5 riddles completing by collecting 10 clues.

Preparing for our Spansion Hunt, hmmm..i wonder who tease me that time...Am i scolding people??!! @_@

The Spansion Hunt includes ranges of challenges from breaking the ice, solving charade (word guessing game), running right, left, top and bottom just to collect hidden clues, finding clues which was hidden in a bunch of eath worms, and for the 1st time Hui Juin carry me on her back.

Our hero for the day, Kah Wai who sacrify his teeth+gum blood biting the harden ice (it's really looks HARD!!!) to get our 1st clue.. Poor Kah Wai!

She who is having weight at 59kgs need to carry me who had 5 kgs lesser than hers. Pity her... Actually, i do have intention to carry her, but not sure whether can i fling her on my back, and stand for 20 seconds. Anyway, she made it! KHJ, you're my hero!!

Other than that, we also need to run around Spansion like crazy women, to make sure we get our clues ASAP and treat it as jogging routine (part of slimming plan). I guess we ran too aggresively and our MD, Jerome can't stand of it and asked while we are running passing him..."Why everybody is walking but you guys were running??". I also can't stand and replied with "Would you like to join us??". I guess he showed the SWEAT =___= face, but we already left him behind, continuing our clue-finding!

Too bad, we accidentally took the wrong clue which direct to final point with only 3 clues on-hand. We wasted like maybe 10 minutes waiting for nothing, so i fiercely asked for next clue to continue our clue-finding. But we are 10 minutes behind, which enough to be the last team to arrive for final check-point. Gggrrrrr~~~~~~

Anyway, we manage to complete all challenges and grab "8" as our lucky team achievement with the total of 9 teams participation. Yes!!! yes..~~ T.T we are the 2nd top team [FROM BOTTOM]..... So, to cure our sadness for being top 2[FROM BOTTOM], we were served with Free Early Dinner. The menu for the day is Mee Hun, Keropok Lekor, Sandwiches, Ice Syrup and Hot Teh Ice.

I never tried sleeping before, as i think it will be very suffer if i need to wake up half-way to conitnue to work. Like you are already half way to the heaven * or already reached heaven*, then suddenly you was kicked back to the hell..Something like that...

Or maybe you are in the middle of dreaming having nice and sweet moment kissing with your sweet one, suddenly you open your eyes and realizing "yu-fa" or "pak liong kam" is the one u kissed all the while...yucckkk!!!

Just imagine your mouth/tongue tangling (french kiss) in his mouth..Yucccckkk!!!!

Or maybe you're in the middle of eating an ice-cream, then suddenly wake up realizing you're eating a dark-chocolate-coloured SHIT! yucccckkkk!!!

So i decided not to sleep, but to surf or blogging to spare my time.....But, this is the 1st time seeing this people really sleep like nobody business during lunch time, and it scare the auntie who sweep the floor during lunch, thought she was seeing a headless ghost on the chair. But i found it funny, so take a snap of him *quietly, shii~~~ don't tell him*. HAHAHHAHAHH~

:: Barefoot Today ::

Darn!! I forget to bring my sock today..I remember i did pick out a pair of white sock fom my wardrobe, but i guess i placed it somewhere (maybe on my table, maybe on my bed, maybe in the water sink) and i forgot to put it in my bag, so conclusion is I DO NOT HAVE ANY SOCK TO WEAR ON WORK TODAY!
*vomit blood*

This is the reason why i need to barefoot (without sock) for at least 8~9 hours in the office today. I hope my leg's smell do spread over the whole Spansion, and faint all of the staffs and force them to give a call for a day, and i can go back earlier. I know Polly die die hoping for this day to come. *hahahahahah* But, by that time, all of Spansion's staff will kick me like nobody business for bringing BLOODY SMELLY foot to work! hahahaahah*


Actually, my leg not smelly la, but it get sweats easily (without protection) and unfortunately, it need to "trap" inside plastic shoe for the whole day. Luckily i got temporary slipper-look-alike-plastic shoe, so it can breath while i'm sitting at my desk. I cannot wear it if i need to walk out of my cubicle, because the size is toooooo big. I will look like a little dwarf wearing a Giant big shoe, and wandering around Spansion. Looks weird right?!!

Due to Hui Juin gained weight after her Penang "eating" trip, she's going to start detox program for a week , and as her Spansion's breakfast/lunch companion I need to start my lunch fruit meal as well. You see, how good i am! Polly, you see how good i am! *hehehehhe*

Pasar Malam visit is where i get my weekly supply , in getting fruits for my whole week. I bought 7 pcs of plumns, RM10.00 seedless purple grapes and 10 pcs of small red crunchy apples. All of them are my one week lunch supply, and i hope it's enough.

I started the same meal yesterday, and same goes to today and i need to eat same fruit meal for another 3 days. I do hope to reduce my weight from 52kgs to 50kgs after this detoxitation plan. *hoping with shining blinking eyes*.

:: Spansion CHUM ::

All out of sudden, I feel want to blog something sentimental in my blog. I've blogged about love between Leong and I here , i've blogged about my mummy here, i've blogged about all my dearest SMKS24 chums here , i 've blogged about myself all the times...Wah! I've blogged quite alot of them leh... *not realizing it*

So, suddenly while flipping over the old photos (digital photo), saw some repetition of Hui Juin's photo and I, either being together or with other chums. Thinking while both of us still working with Spansion (before she resigned or I resigned), better leave some jotes to memorize our bad and good times in Spansion.

I still remember how did i join Spansion, and being part of Spansion together with Hui Juin. Knowing she is working there, i sent her email asking whether Spansion got any vacancy for IT. Being a "dedicated employee" and "a good friend", she did not reply my mail for quite some time until I found IT Engineer post from Jobstreet myself, applied, being called for interview and being offered for the job at Spansion. What a good friend she is huh....

Ok ok, she did replied me at last, but it was after i got the job at Spansion, while she was clearing her email and accidentally saw my mail. She confronted me with below reply :

"It's like this actually, I redirect all personal email to my personal folder once received, and you know how u all reply TONS of emails a days 1 rite? =___=" And you know how BUSY i was when I first join Spansion la... HAhaha.. so all in all, that is what happen to ur email.. kekeke" - Hui Juin

That's how's my journey to Spansion KL with Hui Juin. I joined Spansion since 21st December 2007, and that's when i started the daily routines at Spansion with Hui Juin. It includes ;

1) Eating breakfasts together
2) Eating lunch together
3) "ta pao" fruits and "kuih muih" together
4) Diet together *by skipping lunch or dinner or both*
5) Waiting for each other at car park together to start work
6) Going to car park to take our car together to end our work
7) Talk craps and cocks together in email or IM (Instant Messenger) for few hours together
8) Plan and go to toilets together
9) Joined department lunch together with our same boss
10) Joined bowling together
11) Joined Spansion Family Day together
12) Go to canteen together
13) Go buy coffee together
14) Getting prettier together at Spansion *styling hair, styling dress, styling lashes*
15) And we also kutuk si "cockroach" together *ta siu yan*

Because of us always sticks together while we step into Spansion, alot of rumours saying we are LESBIAN! Hahahahaah, very farny right? I had a boyfriend for 6 years, and she had one for 5 years ok...How come we are Lesbian??!! Hello??? We? I love my boyfriend ok!! Please la guys! Hahahahaha!*shaking you all*.
Anyway, it's so enjoyable when you have someone for companion in a company, so we wont be boring struggling alone in the company. We can share those gossips together gether, which can be used to spice up our day, so it can pass faster.

Everyday, we are like counting down the time to 5:00pm on when can we start to pack our things to leave the company. Those activitiy actually creates the bond between me and Hui Juin, the Spansion chum bond. *hahahahahah*

Thanks Hui Juin, for your sacrifies in being my Spansion Lesbian for so many years....hahhahhaha!
